Responsibilities:
- Nurturing existing business
- Answering technical calls & emails from architects, engineers, designers, industrial equipment fabricators, distributors, and OEMs
- Processing customer orders
- Assisting with technical inquires
- Assist marketing & management with special projects
- Problem analysis
- Reporting
- Supervise and Managing Workflow
Job description:
- On-demand service support to our customers in both English and French Canada (telephone & electronic communications)
- Assist in executing our go to market strategy in both English and French Canada
- Use Salesforce as a main platform to keep relationships up to date to drive our sales & marketing efforts
- Manage, maintain & grow any existing customer relationships in both English and French Canada
- Facilitate & manage the development of customer relationships
- Update remote showrooms in both English and French Canada with the latest displays of new products & eliminate discontinued items
- Leverage new & existing customer relationships to sell new product lines & offerings
- Leverage new & existing Architect and Designer relationships to promote new product lines & offerings
- Work the Swordfish booth and attend trade shows as an exhibiting or non-exhibiting vendor at relevant trade shows in both English and French Canada
- Work with Swordfish head office to prepare and submit display, sample & literature orders for dealers in both English and French Canada
- Travel to occasional meetings, trade shows and vendor factories in Canada and throughout USA
- Weekly & monthly reporting to Agency Stakeholders
Necessary qualifications:
- This is a bilingual role and the languages required are English and French
- Minimum 3 years sales and/or technical support experience
- Must be self motivated and be willing to meet with the national team over weekly video conferencing
- Salesforce experience an asset, but not required
- High School Diploma
- Passport for international travel is essential
- Experience or expertise with door hardware or installation a major asset
- Demonstrated systems literacy skills (good working knowledge of common PC applications – email,word,excel,zoom,etc)
- Experience or expertise with Interior Design or Architecture is an asset, but not required
- Highly motivated and energetic team player
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Special Conditions:
• This role can be based in either Vancouver, BC or in Toronto, ON area depending on the successful applicant
• Remuneration is by salary, plus bonuses are available for maintaining reasonable sales and active account targets.
